| Happy Friday everyone! In case you haven't seen this yet, mythbusters tackled an interesting automotive related myth in this episode. Does a dirty car create a golf ball like effect resulting in reduced drag? Results were interesting, to sum it up... Baseline: 26mpg Dirty Car: 26mpg BUSTED But then they packed the car with molding clay and actually tried to reproduce golf ball dimples. Car w/ clay on panels: 26mpg Car w/ Dimples cut in clay: 29+mpg I'd like to see some professionals throw up numbers before I intentionally drive my Z through a hailstorm to get the same effect. Still interesting though. Here's the clip (see 40 min mark) La-Z-Link Here's more info La-Z-Link One more La-Z-Link
